This stunning Geisha Bourbon is produced in Chillimani Chocalpampa, Peru, by Clinton Quilla Mamani, who has worked on his farm since he was a young boy. A Geisha blend which is sourced through Cecovasa cooperative in Southern Peru who we have been sourcing the most stunning Peruvian coffees through now for over 20 years. The Mamani family are members of Cecovasa in Southern Peru, a larger cooperative that we have been trading with for almost 20 years. Cecovasa represents thousands of indigenous Quechua and Aymara families living in the Andean regions of Puno and Cuzco.
For all coffee lovers out there, this is a real gem of a coffee. As champagne is to the wine industry, the geisha varietal is to the world of coffee. This one is an extra special micro lot which has been carefully grown and attended to by a mother and son duo on their small farm.
The cup profile is delicate with floral perfume notes and beautifully balanced with ripe citrus fruit and a soft and creamy mouthfeel.
