Nuevo Futuro Association is located in Popayan in Cauca and was founded in 1995 as a part of a program to eradicate of illicit crops efforts in Cauca. Today the association has 200 farmer members who are located in the municipalities of El Tambo, Piendamó, Buenos Aires, Santander de Quilichao, La Vega, and Timbío. The Coop is also involved in programs promoting the production of food on their members farms which they have started to sell as well at local markets. The coffees are pulped on the farm in a traditional beneficio on small pulping machines before then being dry fermented in tiled tanks overnight for 12-16 hours. After this the coffees are then dried for 7- 10 days in parabolic tents on raised beds.

We would always encourage to purchase our coffees as whole beans and grind on demand, however we now offer ground coffee for espresso and filter too! Please note that coffee is ground just before dispatch and a tamper proof seal will be applied to the coffee bag.
